Her killer videos for tracks such as Queen and Hi Everybody showcase an artist with keen flow, lyrical sharpness and a very professional image. OUT2Lunch is her latest mixtape. " - Stuart Derdeyn, The Province
KELSEY SAVAGE is a sapphire-haired writer currently immersed in the vibrant world of sexual health education in the city of Vancouver. A veteran slam poet and co-host of the long-running Open Mic at the Lyceum in Kitsilano, she has spent the past two years working alongside local burlesque artists such as Ava Lure, Voodoo Pixie, and Lola Frost in collaborative explorations of the dance between body and word. Now, as a graduate of both the UBC Creative Writing Program as well as the course component of Opt B.C.’s Sexual Health Education Certification program, Savage's most recent undertaking is combining her love of writing and performance poetry with her genuine passion for sex-positive, comprehensive sexual health education. She’s currently completing a year-long practicum in which she teaches a wide range of folks, from kindergarteners to Nursing Students, everything from the basics of body science to the wide spectrum of gender and all things in between.
